Mirsk and Kwieciszowice

Dudek Mirsk you find a 40 km behind the German/Polish border near the city Jelenia Góra in the province Dolny Sląsk. Or 15 km behind the Czech border. More precisely our bed & breakfast is located in Kwieciszowice, a settlement with about 150 villagers that belongs to the city Mirsk. It is situated at a height of 500 meter at the border of a big forest area and mountain pastures with astonishing views and several beautiful old farmhouses in the neighborhood.

Like mentioned earlier, we are at the border from a big forest, animals which are spotted regularly are deer, foxes, badgers, eagles etc.

Giant Mountains, Karkonosze end Iser Mountains

The region also is called Sudetenland and is a part of the Giant Mountains. Better known as the Karkonosze the mountains where you can find Dudek Mirsk is called the Iser Mountains. De area is very popular bij the Polish and German people but has still to be discovered by other nations. Kwieciszowice is situated in a very quiet part of the region but with lots of opportunities to spend your time. A recap:

Dudek Firlej Region

The log is situated about 650 km from the German/Polish border near the East Polish town Lublin in the Lubelski province. Surrounded by 1000 hectare forest, on a piece of land of 4 hectare is a lodge build in the style of the region, where you can spend a marvelous time under simple conditions.

A nice place to relax. A silence we don't have in a lot of places anymore. Once you have seen the sunset above the woods, you don't want to go back. A marvelous sky filled with millions of stars. Get to yourself while reading a book, get inspiration fore a new painting, bird watching, opportunities enough.

Except the pleasure of a oasis of peace, there a lots of other possibilities of relaxiation:

Biking and walking; the lodge lays at the border of a protected landscape named Kozłówka. It is known for its hills and wetlands near the Wieprz River. Woods varietated with open areas.
Roztoczanski National Park with it's over 400 year old trees.
Zwiedzanie zabytkowych miast Lublin i Zamość, znajdujących się na liscie UNESCO
There are a lot of old palaces and castles for example in Nałeczów, Janów and Kozłówka. Kozłówka is 3 km of the log. The entrance is free, only you have to pay when you want to go into the palace or visit there enormous collection of social realism art.
