Dudek Firlej Map
The log is situated in Baran a town of few houses belonging to the village Firlej in the county Lubartów. The distance from the German/Polish border is about 650 km. Traveling time about 8 hours.
Baran lays about 40 km north of Lublin, the capital of the province Lubelski between the villages Firlej and Kamionka.

ROUTE
Option 1 through Wroclaw
- First you drive in the direction of Berlin there you take the Berlin Ring.
- Depending on your plans you can drive for example via Poznan/Warschau or Wrocław/Czestochowa towards Lublin.
- From Lublin you take the highway nr. 19 towards Białystok, then you pass through Lubartów.
- After about 12 km you arrive in Firlej, on your right you see a lake and on your left hotel "Imperium".
- Here you turn left; this is the road from Firlej to Kamionka. After 3 km you find the log on your right. As soon as you see a road sign with the name Sobolew 1.5 km (to the right) then you drove to far. The log is situated about 250 meters before the sign.
Option 2 through Warsaw
- When you drive trough Warsaw you'd better drive via Dęblin to Kock. (This route offers you nice landscapes)
- There you take the highway nr. 19 to Lublin.
- When you arrive in Firlej on the right you'll see Hotel Imperium. Here you turn right, this is the road from Firlej to Kamionka. After 3 km you find the log on your right. As soon as you see a road sign with the name Sobolew 1.5 km (to the right) then you drove to far. The lodge is situated about 250 meters before the sign.
